This artwork comes from the archive of Bianchini Ferier, which was sold at Christies, King St, London in 2001. Bianchini Ferrier, based in Lyon, France, was recognised as the leading printing company to couturiers. Clients included Poiret, Vionnet, Chanel, Schiaperelli, and Dior. The company employed top artists, most famously Raoul Dufy.
